In case you missed it…

F3T is coming to Manchester!

The Fly Fishing Film Tour, also known as F3T, is coming to the Southern Vermont Arts Center on June 2nd. The show starts at 6:30pm and is presented by Sharptail Media and Orvis. Make sure you come early for a chance to win a rod (doors open at 5:30pm) and don’t forget to stop by the TUSWVT table.

Tickets are available in advance for $12 at the Orvis Store. They are also available online and at the door the night of the event for $15.

Participate in our May “Trout of the Month” contest for a chance to win a FREE ticket.

Proceeds from the event will go to the AKP Foundation, “Fighting Cancer with Adventure”.

Water quality in the upper Mettawee River

At 7pm this Wednesday, April 25th, the Manchester and Dorset Historical Societies will be sponsoring a program at the Long Trail School that provides an overview of a five year study on the health of the Mettawee River in this region. Long Trail School faculty and students did work on the project in conjunction with St. Michael’s College.

The event will also include a report on the effects of Irene on the river.
