Welcome
Our chapter’s mission is to conserve, protect, and restore southwestern Vermont’s coldwater fish populations, fisheries, and their watersheds. From the Otter Creek and it’s tributaries up in Rutland county, down through the historic Battenkill watershed around Manchester and Arlington, and the Hoosic and Walloomsac rivers and their tributaries in the most southwestern part of Vermont, these waters are home to precious trout that need your help. Whether you’ve always lived in Southwestern Vermont or just visit for the great fishing, we invite you to join our effort to keep our home waters and local fish healthy.

Through our work with TU National, the Vermont Department of Natural Resources, Vermont Fish & Wildlife, and many local organizations, we have a number of great ongoing projects that support our mission.
